Vernon G. Laune Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon G. Laune of New Haven, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Laune and Mary Laune (Meyer); his in-laws, James and Aletha Lampkin; his brother-in-law Stanley Horstmann; and his nephew Matthew Lampkin.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Laune (Lampkin) of New Haven; his son Mark Laune (Renee) of New Haven; his grandchildren, Claire Laune (Hunter Lensing) of New Haven and Matthew Laune of New Haven; his siblings, John Laune (Kathy) of New Haven and Mary Lou Horstmann of New Haven; and his brother-in-law Jim Lampkin (Carol Lampkin) of Rhineland.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home (1053 Hwy C, New Haven, MO 63068). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Assumption Church (603 Miller St, New Haven, MO 63068).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Assumption Cemetery or New Haven Youth Fair Tractor Pull.
