She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Owens and Martha Owens; her son Justin Owens; her grandchildren, Stephanie Gillette and Nicholas Hollaway; her siblings, Shirley Moore, Willer Mae Day, Mary Owens, Melba Mae Edwards, Wilford Owens, Pearl Owens, Paul Owens and Irvin Owens; and her siblings-in-law, Glen Dierker, Eugene Day and Marilyn Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Gillette (Dale Brooks), Donna Walker (Jon), Jessie Gillette (Terri), Steven Owens (Crystal) and Curtis Owens; her grandchildren, Tasha, Nakeah, Malachi, Jessie, Adrian, Demetrus, Steven, Cierra, Curtis, Kierra and Tayshon; her great grandchildren, Nora and Jessie; her sisters, Daisy Owens and Susie Dierker; her aunt Daisy Mozee; and her brothers-in-law, Charlie Edwards and Clifford Moore. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
