It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip James Freese of New Haven, Missouri, born in Wentzville, Missouri, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Freese and Catherine; his siblings, Charles "Buddy" Freese and Margaret Ann Miner; and his granddaughter Kalyn Rose Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Barby Freese; his children, Christopher Freese of Las Vegas, NV, Damian Freese-Burns, Roberta Nettleton (John) of Branson, MO, Vanessa Strubberg (Randy) of Beaufort, MO and Laura Oliver (Anthony) of Union, MO; and his sisters, Shirley Park (Don) of Lebanon, MO and Dorothy "Dolly" Urban of Westcliffe, CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Veterans Memorial Park in Rolla, MO.
