He was predeceased by: his brother Bob Bocklage. He is survived by: his father Tom Carolan; his wife Sally of Washington; his brother-in-law Walter Murray of Union; his nephews, Allan Murray of St. Louis and Andrew Murray of Kansas City, MO; his niece Laura Walker (David) of Washington; and also Reverend Jim Troust. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial donations are to the Washington Historical Society or the St. Francis Borgia Church.
