She was predeceased by: her parents, Mardie McGath (Bertha) and Bertha McGath; her husband Dallis Garner; and her daughter Mary Ruth Abernathy. She is survived by: her children, David Garner (Donna) of New Haven, Bryan Garner (Sheryl) of Auxvasse, Betty Lawson (Monroe) of Ironton, Fay Melton of Fort Myers, FL, Carrol Schaper (Art) of Troy, Sue Mans (Mike) of Jefferson City and Brenda Lindsey of Valley Park. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations to Ride for Kids Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation are preferred.
