He is survived by: his children, Dale Elbert (Debbie) of Washington, Missouri, Doug "Mac" Elbert of Leslie, Missouri, Mark Elbert (Dawn) of Greenfield, Missouri, Gary "Tiger" Elbert (Donna) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Steve Elbert (Melanie) of Boston, Virginia, Sue Courtway (Carl) of Union, Missouri, Emily Elbert of St. Louis, Missouri and Bryce Elbert; his stepchildren, Kevin Haug (Amy) of Washington, Missouri, Keenan Haug (Brita) of Juneau, Alaska, Keir Haug (Geri Heberlie) of St. Louis, Missouri, Karin Haug of Vicenza, Italy, Kecia McKinnis (Scott) of Washington, Missouri and Korine Haug Krieftmeyer (Doug) of Washington, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Mary Francis Pomie of Kansas City, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
