He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Pruessner and Helen M. Hassler; his sister Joyce Trentmann; and his nephew Chuck Martin. He is survived by: his wife Nadine M. Klott of New Haven; his children, Danielle Anderson (Matt) of New Haven, Jared Pruessner of New Haven and Robert Pruessner of Columbia, MO; his granddaughters, Elaina and Claire Anderson; his siblings, John (Quenna) of Hermann, James (Carol) of New Haven, Jerry (Paula) of New Haven, Janet Kohlbusch (Sanford) of Berger and Jean Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Joy Pruessner of Berger, Agnes Lackman of Hermann, Carol Brandt (Glenn) of Hermann and Daniel Klott (Donna) of Washington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorials may be given to New Haven Community Outreach or New Haven Youth Fair.
