She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Heggemann; her parents, Oscar Ruether and Angela Ruether; her siblings, Jerome Ruether (Eileen), Urban Ruether (Sophie), Marion Ruether, Louise Schwoeppe (Marvin), Margaret Holtmeyer (Alfred), Annie Wessel (Donald) and Tom Ruether; and her siblings-in-law, Marvin, Leon Heggemann, Janette Heggemann and Lorraine Kluba.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Bade (Kent), Randy Heggemann, Larry Heggemann (Cheryl), Debbie Patke (Dennis), Ken Heggemann (Jill), Donna Hopen (Paul) and Jonne Hanneken (Steve); her sister Tootie Borgerding (Carl); and her siblings-in-law, Marilee Ruether-Getz, Judy Heggemann, Jackie Heggemann and Phil Kluba. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations are suggested to be made in Joey's honor to the Dutzow Community Club Playground Fund or to Masses at St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
