He is survived by: his parents, Chris Nixon (Bonnie) and Bonnie Nixon of New Haven; his partner Kelly Murdock of Gerald; his children, Bryce Nixon of Gerald, Raelynn Nixon of Gerald and Leanna Slocum of Union; and his siblings, Justin Schmidt (Melinda) of Sullivan, Misty Nixon (Chad Shipley) of New Haven, Christin Nixon of Beaufort and Amanda Hartzell (Mark) of Union. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
