He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Nething and Emma Nething (Scheer); and his sisters, Ella Nething and Thekla Pohlmann. He is survived by: his stepson Tim Wood (Marge) of Owensville, Missouri; and his brother-in-law Jim Frey (Karen) of Owensville, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church (9100 Hwy YY, Port Hudson, MO 63068).
