She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Drewel and Pearl Drewel (Warner); her husband Maurice H. Unger; her sons, Daniel, Michael and Timothy Unger; her grandchildren, Kayla Pointer and Andrew Pointer; and her sister Betty Scheer.
She is survived by: her children, Lowell Unger (David Kessel) of Maryland Heights, Missouri, Loren Unger (Tonia) of Berger, Missouri, Cindy Pointer (Mike) of New Haven, Missouri and Mona Unger of Bland, Missouri; her daughters-in-law, Elaine of New Haven, Missouri and Sonja Unger of New Haven, Missouri; her sister Lola Mann of Texas; her siblings-in-law, Don Unger (Evelyn) of Shawnee, Rosella Unger of Mexico, Missouri and Darlene Buenemann of New Haven, Missouri; and her grandsons, Cody Unger (Crystal), Dustin Unger (Sarah), Joseph Unger (Jessie), Robert Unger (Samantha) of New Haven, Missouri, Jeremy Ellis of Seattle, Washington and Brent Ellis of Cedar Hill. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
