It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Brune of New Haven, Missouri, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gilbert Brune to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Brune and Clara Brune; his wife Lucille Biermann; and his siblings, Edwin, Elmer Brune and Vera Kamper.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis G. Brune (LaRayne) of New Haven, Paul W. Brune (Gretchen) of New Haven and Donna Sue Miller (Robert); and his sister Verna Borgmann of Washington. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Mercy Hospice, the Alzheimer's Association or Ebenezer Lutheran Church, in care of Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home.
