He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scheer and Edna Scheer; his siblings, Doris Adams, Ermalee Pehle, Leola Weiser, Glen and Earl Scheer; and his granddaughter Jubilee Scheer.
He is survived by: his sons, John Scheer (Janice) of St. Charles and Jeff Scheer (Linda) of Thomaston, Georgia; his grandchildren, Daniel Scheer, Jaimie Binkley, Amy Jo Scheer, Gina Scheer, Jesse Scheer, Jacey Esparza, Jayden Scheer, Samara Dinnius, Brian Scheer, Benjamin Scheer and Lucas Scheer; and his great grandchild Vanessa Frericks.
Memorials will be given to Memorial Baptist Church.
