He was predeceased by: his mother Esther Smith; his brother Aaron Smith; and his wife Joyce Lee LaMarque. He is survived by: his father Leo Smith; his sister DeLois Greenlee; and his children, Deborah Carter (Gregory), David LaMarque Smith (Natasha) and Jason Smith (Pam). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parkway United Church of Christ (2841 N Ballas Rd, St. Louis, MO 63131). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM.
