She was predeceased by: her spouse Asa Sumner; and her great grandchild Edy Sumner. She is survived by: her children, Maureen Ellis of Bridgeton, Gary Sumner (Jean) of St. Ann, John Sumner (Birgit) of Durango and Michelle Turner (James Turner, MD) of Washington; and her sister Carol Miller (John Miller) of Jacksonville, Illinois. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.
