He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Arkle and Maude Arkle (Haymaker); his brothers, Dean Arkle and Leland Arkle; and his grandson Jeffery Luther.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Arkle; his children, Alan Arkle and Rhonda Luther (Jerry); his granddaughter Jennifer Menneke (Herb); his great grandchild Paige Menneke; and his sister Marjorie Callaway.
