It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Leon Banks of New Franklin, Missouri, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Banks and Phyllis Mcllvain (Lindsay). He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Banks of New Franklin and Adam Banks of Boonville; his grandchildren, Gwen Pattan, Fletcher Wadeen and Grady Banks; his brother James David Banks; his nephew John Banks; and his niece Daleen Banks. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations by made to The American Red Cross and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
