With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola Dodson (New Franklin, Missouri), born in Boonville, Missouri, who passed away on January 18, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Iva Grace Bail Frieling and Martin Frieling; her husband James Kenneth Dodson; and her sisters, Luetta Brown (Ellsworth) of Lenexa, Mildred Miller (Robert) and Ruby Rieves (Bill) of Boonville.
She is survived by: her son James Brent Dodson of Columbia; her grandsons, James Brandon Dodson (Brittany) of Columbia and James Tanner Dodson (Ashley) of Columbia; her great grandchildren, Derian, Dallas, Gracie and Maddie Dodson; her brother Charles Frieling (Shirley) of Jamestown; and her nieces and nephews, Janet Buckley (David) of Overland Park, Amanda Scott (Wesley) of Moberly, Brian Frieling (Stacy) of Jefferson City and Cody Frieling (Elizabeth) of Tipton.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
