She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren C. Smith and Mildred A. McQuitty-Smothers; her spouse Jerry James; and her brother Warren Smith (Bud). She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Ellen Friedrich (Jim), Julie Ann Christus (Pete), Jill Marie Oser (David) and John Glen James (Kim); her grandchildren, Michelle Friedrich Kaiser (Matthew Britt), Laura Robinson (Mike), Mary Goetz (Michael), Michael Oswald, Rebecca Christus (Andrew), Lucas Oswald (Samantha) and Tanner Dodson (Ashley); her niece Robin Rooney (Johnny); her nephew Tim Smith (Jenni); her caregiver Vickie Crowley; and her close friend Bonnie Whitehurse. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
