She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Bledsoe and Lola Mae Jackson Bledsoe; her husband William "Bill" Dockins; her siblings, William Bledsoe, Melvin Dobson, Larry Bledsoe, Betty Duncan and Irene Bledsoe; and her nephews, Michael and Rodney Dobson.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Dockins of New Franklin and Marva Sartwell (Joel) of Columbia; her granddaughter Laura Cooper (Michael Chang); her stepgranddaughter Jacque Sartwell; and her great grandchildren, Tisha and Aliyah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
