It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Jane Cooper of New Franklin, Missouri, born in Montreal, Missouri, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Everett O'Dell and Rosa Anna Rickerson O'Dell (Annie); her daughter Dolores Ann Hampton (Cooper); and her siblings, James Levi O'Dell, Charles Ernest O'Dell, Lynn O'Dell, Lloyd Eugene O'Dell, Ralph O'Dell, Levi Everett O'Dell Jr., Carl Keith O'Dell, Ruth Frey (O'Dell), Mary Elizabeth James (O'Dell), Hazel Irene Topping (O'Dell), Helen Louise Eaton (O'Dell) and Ruby Eva Bardwell (O'Dell).

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Sue Cooper of Parkville, Missouri; her sister Anna LaVerne Jeffress of Boonville; her sister-in-law Gilda Powers (Cooper) of Branson, Missouri; her grandchildren, Brian Gramlich (Jaime) of Udall, Shellie Nunnelley (Scott) of Independence and Stacy Hontz (Brian) of Blue Springs, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Imani, Aiane, Femi, Vensi Gramlich of Udall, Samantha Ulleberg (Mark) of Independence and Khari Hontz of Blue Springs; and her great great grandchildren, Jazspher, Austin and Riverly Ulleberg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Marjorie requested memorial contributions be made to Rose Hill Cemetery Association. Memorial contributions may be sent to Markland-Yager Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, New Franklin, Missouri 65274.

“We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Marge's passing, but at the same time we are glad that she is now with the Lord and her parents, brothers, and sisters. She lived a good long live.
