She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Estes and Grace Cline Estes; her husband Gilbert L. Gaddis; her sons, Brent and Bill Gaddis; and her sister-in-law Julie Gaddis.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Carter; and her sister Corene Schuble. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
