She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hendrix and Arlie Quinley Hendrix; her siblings, Zelda Canole, Janice Smith and Jess Hendrix; and her grandchildren, Bobby Elder, Wesley Hunt, Cheri Strope and Teri Strope.

She is survived by: her children, Norma Decker (George) of New Franklin, James Elder (Faye) of Pilot Grove, Sandra Elder of Eldon, Linda Kaiser (Richard) of New Franklin and Susan Friess of New Franklin; her siblings, Fay Kempf of Boonville, Lloyd Hendrix (Geneva) of New Franklin, Bill Hendrix (Alice) of New Franklin, Carol Andrews of Newport News, VA and Kathryn Andrews of New Franklin; and her grandchildren, James Decker, Sonya Twenter (Mitch), Darren Elder (Shara), Kevin Strope, Lori Bauer (Brad), Amanda Shanks (Aaron), Travis Overstreet (Chris) and Ryan Friess. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
