She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles S. Cardwell and Ruth V. Cardwell; her daughter Colleen; her siblings, George 'G. T.', Ralph and Leah Sutton; her brother-in-law Ben Sutton; and also Delphine.
She is survived by: her brother Charles 'Jack' Cardwell (GeJuan); her sister-in-law Geraldine 'Jerri' Cardwell; her daughter Cherie Bledsoe-Sutton; her granddaughter Kama Bledsoe (Michael Owen); her great grandchildren, Isabelle and Will Owen; her daughter Robin Nunnelly (Stephen Chappell); her stepgrandchildren, Cortnee Smith (Brian), Audrey, Noelle and Preston Smith; and her grandson Timothy Davault Chappell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are welcomed to the Central Methodist University-scholarship fund in memory of Charles Scott Cardwell, who was Emmy Lou's father..
