With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Johnson of New Florence, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Kropf and Evelyn Kropf (Shively); and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Johnson Schafer (Bill) of Martinsburg and Steve Johnson (Cheryl Myrick) of Montgomery City; her grandchildren, Josh Schafer of Martinsburg, Ashley Schafer of Mexico, Haeley Johnson of Montgomery City, Alec C. Johnson of Montgomery City and Marisa Bertels of Mexico; her great grandchildren, Renly and Ellie Schafer; and her siblings, Jim Kropf (Sharon) of Mexico, Jerry Kropf (Kathy) of Mexico and Lori Hopkins of Mexico.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schlanker Funeral Home (207 Danville Rd, Montgomery City, MO 63361). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at the New Florence Cemetery.
