He was predeceased by: his siblings, Velma Coenta and Ronald Carver. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Michael Warren Carver, Marcilla Evans Carver of Idaho and Sarah Allenbaugh (Sean Allenbaugh) of California; and his siblings, Raymond Carver, Kenneth Carver, Lorene Schmidt, Laura Presley and Marge Kelley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
