He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Speak; his parents, Samuel Fizer Speak and Ruby Faye Hamilton Speak; his son-in-law Timothy John Gant; his grandson Bradley Jarvis Abeln; and his sister Mary Ann Dickerson.
He is survived by: his daughter Lenora Ann Gant of Lawson, Missouri; his grandchildren, Melinda Vroom (Jon), Amelia Gant (Michael), Lindsey Hicks (Zac) and Brandon Abeln (Amy); his daughter-in-law Candie Kaufman; and his siblings, Benny Speak (Nelda), Doug Speak (Mary), Donnie Speak (Mary), Barbra Taylor, Melinda Taylor (Weldon) and Gwen Patterson. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
