He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Francis and Ruth Elliott (Johnson); his wife Bess Richards; his son Stephen; his siblings, Garland Elliott Jr. and Roxanne Drescher; and his close friend Lena Mulvaney.
He is survived by: his daughter Christine Elliott of Gulf Breeze; and his sister-in-law Charlotte. He is also survived by stepdaughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
