He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Marialice Smith (Harmon). He is survived by: his wife Cathy Smith of New Bloomfield; his children, Brian Hobson of Salem and Jessica Schilling (Jordan) of Salem; his grandchildren, Haley, Brock, Benjamin, Carson Hobson, Treyton and Aleenah Schilling; his son Ryan Newton; and his close friend Michael Morra of Walnut Creek. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
