It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Josephine Meers of New Bloomfield, Missouri, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil W. Schiermeier and Anna M. Schiermeier (Welge); her husband Ronald; her granddaughter Jessica Rimert; and her sister Eunice Niemeyer.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Meers; her grandchildren, Allen Rimert (Terri), Kayla Rimert, Periann Rimert, Jacob Meers, Tyler Meers and Logan Meers; her great grandchildren, Case Rimert and Hunter Rimert; her brother Ricky Schiermeier (Carol); and her brother-in-law Harvey Niemeyer.
Memorials are suggested to the South Callaway FFA Chapter or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
