She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Taylor and Lucille Taylor (Brown); her daughter Tonya Lewis; and her sisters, Lela Bullard, Lenora Wallen and Juanita Moberg.
She is survived by: her children, Nyoka Simrell (Gary McQuay) of Nevada, Orletta Simrell of Nevada, James Simrell (Michelle) and Steven Lewis of Nevada. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
