He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Uerkwitz and Dorothy Uerkwitz (Patton); and his son Robert Uerkwitz. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Ada Webb; his son Thomas Uerkwitz (Peggy) of Coal City, IL; and his stepdaughter Beverly McMurtry of Sikeston, MO. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ferry Funeral Home (301 S Washington St, Nevada, MO 64772). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Newton Burial Park (311 W Highland Ave, Nevada, MO 64772).
