She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert L. Gregory and Jennie L. Gregory (Shaw); her husband Ollie Purgerson; and her children, Bobby Purgerson and Melva Purgerson.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Patterson (Jim), James Purgerson (Jeanne) of Altamont, IL, Earl Purgerson (Dorothy) of Stockton, MO, Darlinda Toothaker (Darren), El Dorado Springs, Penny Strassle (Bill) of Independence, MO and Verena Solley of Granite City, IL; and her daughter-in-law Terrie Purgerson of Nokomis, IL. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
