It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew DeWitte (Nevada, Missouri), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Matthew leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his parents, Ross DeWitte and Jean DeWitte of Belton, MO; his children, Christopher Matthew DeWitte, Ross, Hazel Abear (Albert Coats) and Matthew Henry DeWitte, Jr. of Goodman, MO; and his sister Jennifer Cowan. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
