It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew DeWitte (Nevada, Missouri), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Matthew leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Matthew may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his parents, Ross DeWitte and Jean DeWitte of Belton, MO; his children, Christopher Matthew DeWitte, Ross, Hazel Abear (Albert Coats) and Matthew Henry DeWitte, Jr. of Goodman, MO; and his sister Jennifer Cowan. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
