He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Glen "Blue" and L. Inez Garrett (Folkner); his former wife Myra Jean Garrett (Phelps) of Walker; and his sister Doris Keener of Butler, Missouri.. He is survived by: his wife Sharilyn Garrett; his children, Tammy Garrett of Brighton, Victoria Garrett of Lebanon, Madeline Garrett and Dani Garrett; and his siblings, Betty Pitts of Nevada, Charlotte Bonjour-Chase of Tecumseh and Glenice Paige of Dover, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces; as well as many, many friends.
The family asks that anyone wishing to make a donation in memory of Marvin do so to the Nevada FFA Chapter or to the Vernon County Historical Society c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
