She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Leonard and Hattie Frances Leonard; her spouse Glen A. Defebaugh; and her siblings, Warren, Hubert, Edwin, Larry Leonard, Mary Leonard, Bernice Clame, Nadene Wurtz and Wanita Monroe.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Ivey (John) of Wichita, KS, Cheryl Eason (Curt) of Eldorado Springs, MO, Brian Defebaugh (Shelby), David Defebaugh (Michelle) of Fort Scott, KS and Doug Defebaugh (Tonya) of Fort Scott, KS; and her sisters, Frances Brown of Shawnee, KS, Wanda Leonard of Pittsburg, KS and Jeannie Wild of Broken Arrow, OK. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cheney Witt Chapel (201 S Main St, Fort Scott, KS 66701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
