With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Fredric Harms of Nevada, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Louis Harms and Marie Amelia Hederich; his former wife Linda Kay Harms; his wives, Carolyn Harms and Mary Harms; and his daughter Lori Harms.
He is survived by: his children, James David Harms (Celia Kreiensieck) and Danielle Marie Long (Drew Long); his grandchildren, Logan Blake Harms (Brittany Harms) and Madison Leigh Harper; his great grandchildren, Carsyn, Cohen, Rhett and Rylan; his stepdaughter Leslie Woods-Hernandez; his stepgrandchildren, Lily, Adrian and Matt DeBoutez (Abby); and his siblings, John Harms and Janet Monell.
Memorials are suggested in his name to the First Baptist Church Choir c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
