He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Shumaker, Sr. and Virginia Lucille Shumaker (Gowin); his sister May Hutchison; his uncle Bob Gowin (Pat); and his granddaughter Michelle Elizabeth Downen.
He is survived by: his wife Polly Ruth Mills; his children, Henry Shumaker, Jr. of Nevada, Karen Foster of Nevada and Brenda Shumaker of Nevada; and his brothers, Harold Leon Shumaker, Jr. (Margaret), Ralph Shumaker, Sr. (Sandi) and Raymond Shumaker (Brenda). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
