Charles Dean Dahmer Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Dahmer and Skinner; his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Fern Defreese; and his siblings, Maurice Lee Dahmer Jr. (Tin), Dianne Morris (Perry) and Sue Crawford.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rae Dahmer (Defreese); his children, Shane Dahmer (Angi) of Milo and Leslie Sommers (Morgan) of Andover, KS; his grandchildren, Blaine Gibbs (Shelbie) of Overland Park, KS, Laken Walker (Jeff) of Springfield, MO, Paige Scotten (Taylor) of Nevada, MO, Kyle Dahmer of Lamar, MO, Shalea Dahmer of Milo, MO and Josie Sommers of Andover, KS; and his great grandchildren, Paizlei and Trigger Scotten of Nevada, MO.. He is also survived by his wife, and his love of baby animals and children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferry Funeral Home (301 S Washington St, Nevada, MO 64772). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the M.L. and Grace Dahmer Scholarship Fund c/o Nevada R-5 Foundation or the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
