She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Joseph and Ruth E. Shook (Thompson); her husband Walter Joseph Powers; and her daughter Veronica McClure. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Kopf of Atherton, Leslie Merrick of Neosho and Mark Powers of Neosho. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
