She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Periman and Hazel Periman (Daniel); her son John Edward Ayres; her siblings, Olen Periman and Rhonda Muir; and her nephew Kelly Kisler.
She is survived by: her husband Eric D. Harris; her children, Joshua Ayres (Elisha) of Washburn, Missouri and Kandice Riffe (Chris) of Cassville, Missouri; and her siblings, L. B. Periman (Joyce) of Avoca, Robert Periman of Kansas City, Kansas, Linda Hicks (Stanley) of Eagle Rock, Rita Bridgewater (Chuck) of Langley and Becky Eagan (Kevin) of Exeter, Missouri. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
