It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Faye Smith of Neosho, Missouri, born in Picher, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell R. Morerod and Fannie Morerod (Striplin); her daughters, Leah Michelle Smith and Linda Jo Skaggs; and her brother Ellis Eugene Morerod.
She is survived by: her children, Mickey Champ (Wes) of Joplin, Ben Smith of Neosho and James Smith (Linda) of College Grove, Tennessee; and her siblings, David Morerod of Thousand Oakes, California, Leah Marie VanVolkenburg (Carl) of Irving, Dona Walton of Ardmore, Wanda Woodworth of Miami and Betty Lawson (Jim) of Quapaw, Oklahoma. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.
