He is survived by: his children, Jacob McAffrey of Nebraska and Heather McAffrey of Goodman, MO; his siblings, Ronnie McAffrey (Carol) of Baxter Springs, KS, Rudy McAffrey of Oklahoma City, OK, Rodney McAffrey (Rachelle) of Wyandotte, OK and Renee McCool (Jim) of Pierce City, MO; and his sister-in-law Sally McAffrey of Neosho, MO. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
