He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Paden and Willadean Paden; his wife Mary McBride; his stepmother Sherda Brown Paden; and his brother-in-law Bill Lentz.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Schwartz (Scott) of Lafayette, IN and Douglas Paden (Kelly) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Zachary Schwartz, Quinton Schwartz, Bryce Paden (Joy) and Makenzie Wesley (Nate); his great grandchild Jett Paden; and his sisters, Sue Lentz of Neosho, Kay Brown (Tim) of Neosho and Ann Byrd (Walt) of Neosho. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
