He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Brumfield and Virgie Brumfield (Spiers); his wife Bonnie Gay Hively; and his siblings, Shirley Jo Copling, Pearlene Brumfield and Lance Brumfield.
He is survived by: his children, Pearlene (Bill Breshears), Laquita (Bill Lyttle) and Tommy Brumfield (Cherylon Yarosh); his grandchildren, Reggie (Kristie Breshears), Cherita (Michael Heller), Latisha (Robert Stevens) and Tamara (Rob Youngblood); his stepgranddaughter Megan (Clayton Sloniker); and his brother Larry Brumfield of Carthage. He is also survived by sixteen greatgrandchildren.
