With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrna Faye Browning of Neosho, Missouri, born in Borger, Texas, who passed away on October 14, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Myrna Faye departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Myrna Faye may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Myrna Faye leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl L. Wilder and Selma M. Wilder; her brother Stan Wilder; and her husband Kenneth V. Whitmire. She is survived by: her children, Cathy L. Bay (Vernon), Cindy A. Daugherty (Mark) and Todd Whitmire. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and had numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gideon's International or Open Door's Foundation, organizations that were close to Myrna's heart.
