Marcelino Diaz Jr. Obituary
Marcelino Diaz, Jr., age 47, of Neosho, MO, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 while at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO.
Marcelino was born on July 31, 1974 in Tipton, IN, son of Marcelino Diaz, Sr. and Juanita (Granados) Diaz.
Marcelino had worked as a Line worker at EFCO in Monett. He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed fishing, rodeo's, horses, traveling and eating.
On December 23, 2015, Marcelino married Adriana Galvan. She survives. Additionally, Marcelino is survived by four sons, Marcelino Diaz III, of Verona, MO, Oscar Diaz and wife Briana, of Freistatt, MO, Joel Diaz, of Monett, MO and Daniel Diaz and wife Susana of Springfield, MO; one daughter, Julissa Diaz, of Monett; his mother, Juanita Diaz, of Weslaco, TX; five granddaughters, Melonie Diaz, Mariah Diaz, Kailee Diaz, Isabella Diaz and Avianna Diaz; four brothers, Juan Jose Diaz, Eduardo Diaz and wife Maria, Rogelio Diaz and wife Janet and David Diaz and wife Rachel; three sisters, Maria Esmeralda and husband Gustavo, Maria Luisa and Rachel Erwin and husband Jeff; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Marcelino was preceded in death by his father, Marcelino Diaz, Sr.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Buchanan Funeral Home. Private interment will be in the Spring River Cemetery, Verona. Visitation will be from noon on Friday until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
