She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Gates of Jay, Jacklyn Goddard of Texas and Nekisha Garrett of Joplin; her grandchildren, Jaith Gates, David Gates, Dalton Gates, Joseph Gates, Jason Rogers, Nova Fortner, Joshua Fisk, Tateanna Goddard, Wyatt Ruede, Hunter Ruede, Jadyn Ruede, Gabriel Vineyard, Nevaeh Vineyard and Kiera McMurray; and her siblings, Terry Dean, Larry Dean (Helen), Gerald Dean (Ellen), Harold Shorter (Vicki), Harry Shorter, Jr., Michael Dean (Tracy), Kiale Dean (Ellen), Thomas Garcia (Ammanda), Christie Davis, Kimberly Reese (Harold) and Vivien Kimbrough (John).
