He is survived by: his former spouse Neirma Meggers; his children, Brenda Rockrohr (Gary) of Neosho, MO, Glenn Nelson (Irene) of Thousand, Oaks and Kevin Nelson (Janet) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Gary Jr. (David), Anthony (Pattie), Tyler, Brianna and Danica; his great grandchildren, Anthony and Megan; his stepdaughters, Carol Robinson (Scott) of Muscatine, IA, Susan (Gerry) of Gala and Brenda Smith (Tom) of Washington, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Mitchell Robinson, Jared Nielsen, Taylor Nielsen, Chad Robinson, Alexander of Gala, Adam of Gala, Andrew of Gala and Emma Smith; and his siblings, Howard Nelson (Irene) of Camanche, IA and Olive Marohn of La Crosse, WI. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
