It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Newton Willson of Neosho, Missouri, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Newton and Virginia Willson (Beggs); his siblings, Barbara Willson, Don, Fred and Paul Willson; and his grandson Adam Lee Willson.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth McIver (Betty); his children, Mark Willson (Wendy), Leah, Anna, Paula and Sarah Willson; and his grandchildren, Aaron Willson, Alayna Roy (Chris), Abby Kaping (Ryan) and Aileen Nelson (Joshua). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
